About Me
Environmental Science & Sustainable Living teacher at Weston High School in Weston, Connecticut. M.Ed. in English Learner / Multilingual Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Biography
I'm Chandler Wiegand, a high school science teacher at Weston High School in Weston, Connecticut, where I teach Environmental Science and Sustainable Living to eleventh and twelfth grade students. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology and my master's degree in English Learner/Multilingual Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
I enjoy helping students connect science to real-world environmental issues while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I also have a strong interest in educational technology and enjoy finding meaningful ways to integrate digital tools into instruction to enhance student learning.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two daughters, mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. This website is the online home of my courses — a place for students and families to find course information, expectations, and resources throughout the school year.
